Our Story

Our founder, Roo, has been a lifelong animal lover, meeting her first dog—a big, friendly Newfoundland—at just three years old in Canada. Since then, her passion for pets and animal welfare has only grown.

Roo has rescued dogs from death row, including her beloved mini Bull Terrier, Vesi, and Ruby, a Chihuahua with attitude. They quickly became the true bosses of the house!

The Boss Pets was born when Roo struggled to find curated dog accessories that matched the sassy, fun-loving, and bossy personalities of her pets. So, she curated her own.

As lifelong advocates for animals, we donate a portion of every sale to support rescue efforts. We also stand by the adopt, don’t shop philosophy—because every pet deserves love and a second chance.
